Staples Adds First Colorado Store To Centerra Marketplace

McWhinney is pleased to announce that two new retailers will be opening at The Marketplace at Centerra, located at Interstate 25 and Highway 34 in Loveland. Northern Colorado’s first Staples and Loveland’s first Old Chicago will join the largest contiguous power center in Northern Colorado.  Staples is the world’s leading seller of office products.

 As its only Northern Colorado location, the 20,400 total square foot store will be located at 1665 Rocky Mountain Avenue, next door to Sportsman’s Warehouse.

“With the addition of Staples, The Marketplace at Centerra continues to offer its customers a shopping destination that meets a wide variety of needs,” said Allen Ginsborg, Pacific Retail Brokers. Construction on Staples will begin mid-September with a scheduled completion slated for March 2007.

Arriving for the first time in Loveland, Old Chicago is best known for its friendly neighborhood atmosphere, pizza, and its micro-brewed and specialty beers. Located east of Wells Fargo at 1436 Hahns Peak Drive, Old Chicago will occupy 6,212 square feet at The Marketplace. Construction on Old Chicago will begin mid-October 2006 with a scheduled completion slated for March 2007.

Major consultants on The Marketplace at Centerra project include: BHA Design, Landscape Architect; MCG Architecture, Architect; Northern Engineering, Civil Engineer; Pacific Retail Partners, Development Consultant & Leasing Agent; Coe Construction, General Contractor; and Wells Fargo Bank, Lender.
