First National Bank Announces Centerra Location

January 19, 2006   First National Bank, the largest financial institution in Northern Colorado, to Centerra.  Located at the northeast corner of Boyd Lake Avenue and U.S. Highway 34 in Loveland, construction on the new bank building recently started with plans to open this summer.

This is the second location for First National Bank in Loveland, which will serve as a major financial resource at Centerra.  The bank has also partnered with Loveland Coffee Company to include a full-service coffee shop, adding a convenient community meeting place for clients conducting business at the bank.  In addition to the added convenience of a coffee shop, the new branch will also feature five drive-thru lanes and a 24-hour drive-up ATM lane.

"Our commitment remains to our customers. With the addition of our new bank located at Centerra we'll be able to provide our customers with a full suite of financial services. Our vision is to be the only acceptable financial services provider to those who value quality products, convenience and personal service. In addition, we are excited to offer a unique and enjoyable experience for our customers through our partnership with the Loveland Coffee Company. We appreciate their dedication and value towards keeping a strong commitment to our local community." said Chris Osborn, CEO and Chairman, First National Bank.

First National Bank at Centerra will be a 14,250 square foot two-story building. Designed by Vaught-Frye Architects, the building reflects the community’s agrarian roots.  Organic in nature, the building will be a mix of natural materials including stone and wood, featuring the golden tones of the surrounding prarie land and open space, and the rich greens of Colorado’s pine forests.

“Centerra is quickly becoming the neighborhood where almost everything you need for a great life is close to home, and First National is an important addition to making that vision a reality for Centerra,” explained Chad McWhinney, Principal and CEO, McWhinney Enterprises.
